Welcoming Congregation

Guests Always Welcome

We are always pleased to receive newcomers at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Livermore. We welcome people from all religious backgrounds, as well as those who are new to a religious tradition. You are invited to attend Sunday services and any of the other activities that might be of interest to you. Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m., and details related to all activities are found in the monthly newsletter and in the calendar section of the website

What to Expect

When you arrive on Sunday morning, look for the parking spaces reserved for visitors right outside our entrance. Then, you will find two greeters by the front door to welcome you and help you get oriented to our facility. If you have children, a greeter will be happy to help you get them settled comfortably into their classroom, and give you an idea about what to expect during the Religious Education hour.

As a first-time visitor, you will be invited to fill out a Welcome Card so we can send you our newsletter. You also will be encouraged to wear a hand-written nametag so we can all get better acquainted after the service. Returning visitors should look for a preprinted green nametag, and this can be left in the basket by the front door after each visit to tell us you are still interested.

Learn More About UsAfter the service on Sunday, stop by the Visitor Information Center near the coffee for more information and to begin to get acquainted. We also invite you to explore the website and feel free to contact us with any questions at uucil@sbcgobal.net or 925-447-8747.
