"All human life on the planet," writes poet Adrienne Rich, "is
born of a woman. The one unifying, incontrovertible experience shared by all
women and all men is that months long period we spent unfolding inside a woman's
body." Then we began a lifelong, complicated relationship with that woman. We
carry the imprint of that relationship all our lives.

Those of you who care about the future of Unitarian Universalism and particularly the future of your congregation, may want to hear what I want to tell you.
