Volunteer Opportunities
There are many meaningful ways to use your time and talent to benefit the UUCiL community. While making a valued contribution, you also have an opportunity to get better acquainted with other members and friends who share your interests. Volunteer opportunities include the following:
Children's Religious Education
- Teach class on Sunday
- Provide childcare on Sunday or for special event
- Help with special RE events
Sunday Morning Worship Services
- Greet people as they arrive
- Make coffee and tea
- Clean up after coffee and/or potluck
- Help plan Sunday service programs
- Sing in the Choir
- Help with Audio Visual for Sunday services and special events
Building and Grounds
- Help tend lawn and garden
- Work on building maintenance projects
- Oversee capital improvement work
Office Support
- Answer telephone
- Help with mailings, folding programs, etc.
Social Event Support
- Plan event
- Cook and/or serve food
- Help with cleanup
